West Pasco library to open in January
PASCO, Wash. -- The newest Mid-Columbia library branch broke ground Wednesday in West Pasco.Construction will officially start tomorrow, on the corner of Road 76 and Wrigley. The building will be 6,000 square feet with a drive-thru window. It's funded by the Mid-Columbia's general budget, so no additional costs to the city or its tax payers.
Executive Director, Kyle Cox tells KEPR, "We're spending $200,000 just on new materials for the facility so when it open it will be brim full of new materials and books, ready for people."
It's scheduled to be open mid January.
