WSP: Selah man involved in two Pasco hit-and-run crashes
PASCO, Wash. -- Washington State Patrol says a Selah man was involved in two hit-and-run crashes in Pasco Thursday evening.

Troopers say 48-year-old Montie McPherson was driving east on Interstate 182 near Orange Street just after 6 p.m. when his pickup hit a car.

According to WSP, McPherson then continued down the highway and hit another pickup, causing it to roll over. Troopers say he again left the scene and was found on U.S. 12 near Lewis Street.

The driver of the second vehicle hit, 31-year-old Hector Ramirez of Pasco, was taken to Lourdes Medical Center. The driver of the first vehicle hit, a 43-year-old Pasco man, received minor injuries. McPherson was not injured in either crash.

The cause of the two incidents is still under investigation. Troopers say they do not believe alcohol or drugs played a role in the crashes.
