Two Walla Walla men hospitalized after crash
COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. -- Washington State Patrol says two Walla Walla men were hospitalized Tuesday morning when a car hit another car stopped at a stoplight in College Place.

The crash happened just after 8 a.m. on State Route 125 near the intersection with Commercial Drive. Troopers say 85-year-old Wayne Bachtold was driving south when he failed to notice 60-year-old Richard Silva's car stopped in front of him.

WSP says the cause of the crash was inattention. Charges are pending.

Troopers say drugs and alcohol were not involved in the accident.
