Truck overturns on I-84 in La Grande
A truck carrying a load of powdered milk overturned near La Grande Wednesday afternoon. No one was injured.
OREGON STATE POLICE NEWS RELEASE -- A Nampa, Idaho man was uninjured Wednesday morning after the commercial truck he was drivi ng rolled along Interstate 84 in La Grande.

According to Senior Trooper Walt Anderson, on February 19, 2014 at approximately 12:20 p.m., a commercial truck pulling a semi-trailer driven by DAVID A. TERRY, age 66, from Nampa, Idaho, was westbound on Interstate 84 near milepost 261. An apparent right front tire problem caused TERRY to lose control and veer to the right shoulder where the truck hit a guardrail and rolled. The truck and trailer came to rest along the right shoulder.

TERRY was using safety restraints and was not injured.

The load of powder milk did not spill from the container on back of the flatbed semi-trailer.

Oregon State Police was assisted at the scene by Union County Sheriff's Office, La Grande Fire Department, and ODOT.
