Sheriff's office seeks help in unsolved 2010 homicide

BENTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE -- On July 27, 2010, at approximately 2228 hours Benton County Fire District 1 and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a large brush fire at an orchard near the intersection of S.R. 397 and Finley Road, southeast of Kennewick. While conducting firefighting efforts, fire department personnel located the body of an unidentified adult male in the fire. An autopsy on the body determined the male died by homicidal means. The body was identified as that of Juan Antonio Segoviano Garcia (DOB 10-20-79.) Mr. Segoviano is described at time of death as being 5’-6”, 175 Lbs, black hair and brown eyes. Last known to be living in Pasco, WA.
Benton County Sheriff Detectives, Family and Friends of the victim are looking to speak with anyone having information associated with the death of Juan A. Segoviano.
