Saving money while printing ballots

Saving money while printing ballots
BENTON COUNTY, Wash. -- As we head into primary day, KEPR discovered this election won't cost nearly as much, saving your tax dollars.

For a year now, Benton County has printed ballots in-house instead of having an outside company do it.

It's allowed the auditor's office to save $30,000 of your money.

The new printing system has also allowed election officials to speed up the voting process.

The new system has also reduced printing errors on ballots.
