Sacajawea bathroom rebuild canned, for now

PASCO-- KEPR learned Sacajewea Park's new bathrooms won't be built until February.
They were torched by an arsonist last summer. Now, they've been demolished completely.
Park workers tell us they've worked out a deal to rebuild the bathrooms.
It will cost the state $200,000.
Reade O'Bern, a ranger at the park, says, "Our staff had a period of time where it was difficult to comprehend the fire, but people do crime, and you just have to move on."
The person who torched the bathrooms has never been identified.
Police think it was the work of gangs.
