Lily Estrada was driving east on 240 when she merged her way on to 395 north. There's a curve where the speed limit drops to 35. Police tell KEPR Estrada was going much faster and not wearing her seatbelt when she flipped her small S-U-V.
"We repeatedly have collisions here, that's the reason for the reduced speed and we just need people to slow down and reduce their speed to avoid this," said Trooper Rob Morris.
Estrada is in stable condition and received two tickets. Traffic was slowed down for about an hour through the area.
