RICHLAND, Wash. -- Action News is tracking the developments of Richland School District's bond. New colors have been picked for Lewis and Clark, Marcus Whitman and Sacajawea Elementary.

Neutrals grays will be added to regular school colors. Mascots will inspire the paint on the school hallways. Each building will also have a cast iron statue in front of the school. The silhouettes will represent the schools' respective namesakes.

"Interactive, interior design encourages creativity amongst the user groups and encourages interaction amongst the space, and it really pulls you in a lot of times," said designer Kristen Cummings.

The $98 million bond also covers construction of two new schools.
