Record attendance at TRAC gun show

TRI-CITIES, Wash. -- Possible changes to gun laws means many people are scrambling to buy guns.

This weekend's gun show at the TRAC was the biggest ever.

Things were so busy some people were stopped at the door to wait.

There were too many people already inside and it would have violated fire codes.

Grigg's in Pasco says this is normally a slow time for gun sales, but that's far from the case this year.

"We've had four times the normal volume... we had to close for two weeks because we didn't have stock," says Charlie Griggs, owner of Grigg's Department store.

To accommodate an increasing demand, another gun show will be held in Richland later this month.

They'll also be a gun show at Yakima's Sun Dome.
