TRI-CITIES, Wash. -- It's the end of August and that means it's the perfect time to buy Christmas decorations, right? More aisles are being filled with trees, ornaments and wreaths every day around the Tri-Cities. KEPR was at Hobby Lobby, and found shoppers who were surprised with just how much Christmas stuff is already for sale.
One Shopper, Dee Newman comments, "This can't be already! It's still August.. But it's fun. I can't believe this whole section they have."
Walmart says it will start phasing in Christmas on September 10th and Target takes pride in advertising no Christmas décor until after Thanksgiving.
