It all happened on West Agate street. The three to four people were inside the home at the time. They were able to escape.
Witnesses told police they saw one man start up the fire. Within an hour, police arrested a suspect. Police say the wind played a big part in spreading the fire.
"A lot of flames and unfortunately the smoke obscures a whole lot of things whenever you get asphalt or shingles or anything like that that catches on fire. It's like rubber burning. You see the black smoke," said Pasco Police Sergeant Ben Scott Majetich.
Officials are continuing to investigate the fire. At this time, there is still no word on how much damage it caused.
