Police: More arrests = less graffiti

HERMISTON, Ore. -- Hermiston Police say they've seen far less graffiti this year and arrests like the pair made over the weekend have been key.
Officers picked up Jose Garcia and a 15 year old on Sunday for a rash of vandalism they promise will not be tolerated.
They say Garcia was found on the back of a new bike recently reported stolen from Scott's Cycle.
Police also got them for tagging private property and drug possession.
Garcia was arrested just two weeks ago for similar charges by Pendleton and Stanfield police.
