Pasco's Street Crimes Unit hires four officers
PASCO -- Action News is keeping tabs on a plan that could reduce crime in Pasco.
Pasco police are starting up a street crimes unit that focuses on specific areas of town.
Four new police officers have now been hired for the unit.
They're currently in training.
The street crimes unit will be up and running this fall.
Its main goal is reduce gang activity in Pasco.
