Pasco starts 2 construction projects next week
CITY OF PASCO NEWS RELEASE -- The City of Pasco and its contractors will be starting two construction projects the week of March 18. There will be some traffic impacts during these projects; however, the contractors and the City will work to minimize any impacts. The projects:

• 5th Avenue Sewer Repair: Ray Poland and Sons, Inc. will be closing 5th Avenue to through traffic between A Street and Columbia Street from March 18 to March 22nd. The road will remain open to local traffic. The contractor will be working in the road to raise a manhole for future sewer line repairs.

• 2013 Crack Seal Project - The City has awarded its annual crack seal project to BCV, Inc. The contractor will start work on March 19 and is expected to last 8 weeks. This work will be on several streets throughout the City causing some minimal traffic interruptions. The contractor will maintain two-way traffic for a majority of the areas using flaggers on two lane roads with periodic delays of a maximum of 10 minutes.
