Pasco holds emergency response drill at Ochoa Middle School
PASCO, Wash. -- Pasco School District conducted an emergency response drill at Ochoa Middle School Wednesday.

The drill was done in partnership with the Pasco Police Department, Pasco Fire Department, Franklin County Sheriff Department, and Franklin County Emergency Management.

Neighbors of Ochoa saw police and fire vehicles, as well as media outlets, on or near the campus on March 26 as local first responders worked with PSD to run through emergency response drills.

“We are very pleased to conduct this training exercise at Ochoa,” says Assistant Superintendent of Operations John Morgan. “As the newest of our three middle schools, Ochoa has not yet been the site of a large-scale emergency exercise.”

This past fall PSD conducted a mass evacuation drill, moving about 900 Livingston Elementary students to Chiawana High School.
