Pasco police smell marijuana, get search warrant
PASCO POLICE NEWS RELEASE-- On February 3rd at approximately 4:30 PM, Pasco Officers were at 1911 W. Jay Street in Pasco. Officers were looking for an individual who had numerous warrants for his arrest.
During the course of the investigation officers were not able to get Lawrence Adams (26 yoa) of Pasco to voluntarily give himself up to police.
While speaking with occupant of the apartment officers smelled the presence of marijuana emitting from the residence. Police applied for a search warrant to look for the presence of narcotics and Lawrence Adams inside the apartment.
During the execution of the search warrants Lawrence was located and arrested on his six outstanding arrest warrants. Officers also located approximately a half pound of marijuana, weighing scales and other misc. drug related paraphernalia inside the residence.
Andre Stratton (25 yoa) of Pasco was also arrested along with Lawrence Adams for being in possession of a controlled substance-marijuana with intent to deliver. The two were booked into the Franklin County Correction Center where they will be held pending review of the incident by the Franklin County Prosecutor.
