PASCO, Wash. -- Police are looking for a man who they say robbed a Pasco convenience store Tuesday night while brandishing a machete. It was the second armed robbery in Pasco in less than a month in which the suspect used a machete.

Officers say a man walked into the Sky Market at North 20th Avenue and South Sylvester Street around 11:30 p.m. and demanded money from a clerk. After receiving an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect left the store on foot.

The Pasco Police Department says the robbery shows similarities to an incident May 11th in which a man took money from the King City Truck Stop while carrying a machete.

The suspect in Tuesday's robbery is described as a Caucasian man of medium build and height. He was wearing a dark letterman-style jacket with white sleeves and hood, dark pants with three white stripes and a dark bandana over his face.

Anyone with information on the robbery or on the suspect's whereabouts is asked to contact PPD.
