Pasco Superintendent named best in the State

Pasco Superintendent named best in the State
PASCO, Wash. -- The head of Pasco Schools was named superintendent of the year for Washington State. It was announced at the WASA conference in Spokane, where they noted Saundra Hill's dedication to the students and the community in Pasco. She was still at the conference today, but we spoke to her on the phone. Always modest, Hill said it was a team effort and reflects on the whole region's education systems. Hill's co-workers nominated her for the top award.

Asst. Superintendent, Calaine Bacon says, "She is so committed to these students and their education day after day. Seeing what a good leader we have, helps bring a focus on the positives going on at the Pasco School District."

Superintendent Hill is now up for national superintendent of the year awarded in February.
