Pair of crashes keeps WA State Patrol busy

TRI-CITIES-- Two single-vehicle accidents Thursday night kept Washington State Patrol and local ambulance crews busy.
In the first incident, a motorcyclist on S.R. 397 in Pasco was injured around 5:30 p.m.. State Patrol says Tracy Pierce, 40, of Kennewick, failed to negotiate a curve.
State Patrol believes Pierce was operating his motorcycle while under the influence. He was taken to Kennewick General Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Pierce has been charged with DUI.
The second incident occurred just before midnight Thursday night, when WA State Patrol says Luis Robles of Kearns, Utah rolled the semi he was driving on S.R. 221 two miles southeast of Prosser.
He's been charged with Negligent Driving in the 2nd Degree. Troopers believe he suffered from driver's fatigue, and do not believe drugs or alcohol was involved.
