No Kindle? No problem. Richland will loan you one for free.

RICHLAND LIBRARY NEWS RELEASE -- Beginning Monday, September 10, the Richland Public Library will begin an eReader loan out program, thanks to a donation from the Friends of the Library. Patrons must have a valid Richland Public Library card and must be at least 18 years of age to check one out. The 3-week loan period can be extended if there is not a reservation or “hold” in place.
Patrons will be responsible for the eReader and its accessories, including the case, carrying bag, USB cable and power adapter. All eReaders must be returned to a staff member in person at the Front Desk.
The library has ten eReaders, six Kindles and four Nooks, which are preloaded with current fiction, science fiction, mystery and nonfiction titles. Both the eReaders and the individual eBook titles can be accessed through the online catalog.
For more information, call 942-7408 or visit the library, 955 Northgate in Richland.
