Mudslide shuts down water to Weston, Oregon

WESTON, Ore- -- Folks are without running water after a pipe burst.
Weston is about 15 miles south of Milton Freewater.
Emergency workers tell KEPR a mudslide damaged the town's main water line.
As a result, water has been shut off.
The town's mayor has declared a state of emergency.
Federal help is on the way for the 700 people who live in Weston.
At this time, crews are trying to patch water through a temporary pipe.
They hope to restore water by the end of the day.
