Monster Mega Millions jackpot awaits Friday
OLYPMIA-- With no winners in Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot, the money rolls over, creating what could be a record payday Friday.
For Friday night's drawing, the jackpot for picking five correct numbers and the powerball is a whopping $478 million.
As for previous records, the highest jackpot was $390 million and was split between two winners in 2007, the second highest jackpot was $380 million and was split between a couple, Jim and Carolyn McCullar in Ephrata, WA, and a Post Falls, ID resident in January of 2011.
