RICHLAND, Wash. -- A Richland woman won the opportunity of a lifetime to go to the Super Bowl.

Despite being a lifelong Seahawks fan, she decided to give the trip to her daughter and son-in-law.

Helen Brown won the tickets through a contest at Legends Casino.

But because of her generous heart and a little fear about flying, she decided it was better to take the role of mother-in-law of the year.

She described the phone call to her daughter.

"I called her and said, 'Michelle, remember when I told you a couple weeks ago about that Super Bowl party?' she said, 'yes.' I said, 'I won!' She said, 'Oh mom! You didn't!' I said, 'Yes I did,' and I said, 'You're going.' She said, 'No, I'm not!' I said, 'Yes you're going!' and that was it," she says.

The couple plans to watch the game from the comfort of their home.
