KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Police arrested a 14-year-old Kennewick boy suspected of four arsons.
Four people were forced out of their home on the 3900 block of South Palouse Place last Friday. Officials said nearly everything inside the house was destroyed.
Investigators linked the boy to three other arsons in the same neighborhood. They believe he is responsible for setting fire to a home under construction just a few blocks away on the same road.
Police said he's also responsible for fire at two homes on the 1500 block of West 40th Place.
Officials said he is not linked to any other recent fires in the area.
Police booked the teen Tuesday into the Benton Franklin Juvenile Detention Center.
