Police: Kennewick baby under influence of meth

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- A Kennewick man is being investigated after the toddler he was babysitting ended up with meth in her system.
Police say the 20 month old baby was brought to the emergency room where doctors discovered she was under the influence of methamphetamine. She was spent the night at the hospital to be sure she was okay.
Two days later, detectives went to the home of Christopher Jackson, 21, on South Newport. He is a family member of the baby and was watching her the day she was under the influence.
Jackson had several outstanding warrants and was additionally arrested for possession of meth and endangerment of a child with a controlled substance.
The mother of the baby is no longer in her life. The father of the baby is unknown. A grandmother was the current guardian. She left the baby in the care of Jackson. The 20 month old child was taken into protective custody for her safety.

I don't even know what to comment, this makes me sad!
Parents no longer in childrens lives, Grandma trusted meth user with children, none of that family is to be trusted. They need to be adopted to parents that do parenting, the father should be locked up, he ruined this babys brain without a gun, he is not fit to be in public, our own children are at risk. Lock him up!
The story clearly said Father was unknown!! I agree this family clearly has lapse in judgement but neither parent is in the picture.
