"Kennewick Man" not actually from Kennewick
KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The famed Kennewick man may not be from Kennewick after all. A scientists now suggests the nine-thousand year old skeleton is from a coastal area.

A physical anthropologist at the Smithsonian led the charge to study Kennewick man. The scientist believes the man ate marine life and suggests he is not - not Native American, possibly of Asian descent.

The findings were presented to tribal members who call Kennewick man "Ancient One" and have fought to have him reburied. The remains are one of the most complete sets of ancient bones found in North America.
