Jury selection begins in vehicular homicide trial

BENTON COUNTY, Wash. -- Jury selection began Monday for a woman accused of vehicular homicide.

Prosecutors say Natalie Lincoln was impaired by prescription medication when she hit and killed a man in Benton City.

Before opening statements begin, the defense wants to stop victim Steven Covert's family from wearing buttons with his face on them. The judge made no decision on that Monday.

The state will not be allowed to present the entire list of medications that Lincoln had been prescribed.

Jury selection continues Tuesday.
