BENTON COUNTY, Wash. -- A former Kennewick man is guilty of premeditated murder.
Jurors had the option of finding Grant Scantling guilty of second degree murder, but the prosecutor made his case - that Scantling went there with the intention to kill.
Scantling burst into a Kennewick home back in March and killed 24-year-old Franklin Palmer.
Scantling was a jilted lover and killed Palmer for having a relationship with his ex. He's expected to receive a life sentence.
