Hanford senior wins $75,000 for science project
RICHLAND SCHOOLS NEWS RELEASE, VIA INTEL -- Andrey Sushko, a senior at Hanford High School, Tuesday night was announced as the second place winner in the Intel Science Talent Search, the nation’s most elite and demanding high school research competition.

Sushko, one of 40 finalists in Intel STS 2012, receives a $75,000 scholarship award from the Intel Foundation.

His work dealt with miniature motors, and the potential impact of the use of water in their design.
