Fugutive Todd Stuart arrives in Franklin County
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. - Todd Stuart is officially charged with trying to kill his mother-in-law.
He had been living in California and made his first court appearance today. Stuart faces first degree attempted murder charges and was given a half-million dollar bail.
Court documents allege he and Tashia Stuart tried to dump a load of books on Judy Hebert's head last February. She survived that but was shot to death weeks later.
Tashia Stuart is charged with first degree murder for the death of her mother.
The Franklin County prosecutor told KEPR he is looking to try the couple separately on their charges.
