Flashlight tag leads to accidental shooting
Police say an game of flashlight tag led to the accidental shooting of a teenager.

It happened at the "On the Boulevard" apartments on West Gage.

Police say the game stopped when a 22-year-old man shot his friend when a flashlight was pointed in his face. The 16-year-old was shot in the wrist and had to go to the hospital.

At this time, Police say this case is an accident--- but it's still not clear why the 22-year-old shot his friend.

Neighbors tell us the whole thing is just scary.

"We chose to live here in this area of town because it's - you know - it's nice, it's safe - so it's kind of weird hearing that something like this happened," said Apartment Resident Crystal Kruse.

The case has been sent to the prosecutor's office for review of criminal charges.
