RICHLAND, Wash. -- A woman hit by a car near Fran Rish Stadium in Richland on Thursday has died of her injuries. A witness said Margaret Carraher was initially knocked out, but conscious when she left in the ambulance. The coroner confirmed the 62 year old died at the hospital.

The accident was at Stevens Drive and Lee Boulevard. The witness says the woman had been on the sidewalk and stepped into the road when she was hit. Carraher was wearing dark clothing and was not in the crosswalk. The coroner says she died from a head injury.
