Driver loses control, plows into Kennewick backyard
KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Folks in one Kennewick home got quite a scare when a car plowed through their backyard.
It happened on 22nd Avenue and Garfield.
The SUV flipped and came to a rest in some bushes.
Police say the elderly driver lost control of the car and drifted off the road.
The accident took out a large stretch of fence.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital -- but due to privacy laws we don't know of the injuries.
Nobody else was hurt in the accident.
