Dog training facility coming to Tri-Cities

Dog training facility coming to Tri-Cities
WEST RICHLAND - Everyone wishes their dog would behave when company comes over or stops making messes on the kitchen floor. There soon will be a place here in the Tri-Cities to train your pooch.

Friends and members of the Chamber gathered in West Richland to break ground on 4 Paws Dog Works.

The seventeen and a half thousand square foot training center will have a climate controlled indoor area and two large out door areas full of grass. The dogs will have obedience classes practice for competitions or just run around.

"To actually be breaking ground today is one of the most exciting days of my entire life, it's been wonderful we don't have a facility like this in the Tri-Cities or anywhere on this side of the mountains and so for doing lovers everywhere, that's why we picked Valentines Day, it's a great day for dog lovers," said owner Tracy Hill.

Hill hopes to have the training center open by the first week of June. She also hopes to hold dog shows and competitions in the future.
