KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Carousel of Dreams opens tomorrow at 11AM.

The first donation project to get the carousel off the ground was ten years ago. It was held by the former Artsy Fartsy Studio in Richland. 642 people made these glazed tiles. They paid 20 bucks a piece to go toward the carousel fund, and the studio donated supplies.

The tiles are mounted on frames and hung on the inside of the carousel building. Etched tiles for the floor were recently sold as a fund raiser as well.
