KENNEWICK -- Dozens of cops shopped with children who are under-privileged on Saturday. They helped buy Christmas presents for the kids and their families.

Kids with parents in the military also came along. Each child received a $100 pre-paid debit card for gifts. The money was raised from this fall's "Tip a Cop" in Kennewick.

Richland and Pasco will have their own separate events in the coming weeks.

"I want those toys over there. I don't know what they're called...I want a silly camera over there," said little shopper Kylie Artz.

Reporter: "Why do you think it's cool that they're shopping with you?"
Kylie: "Because my family isn't here."

If you'd like to donate for the "Cops and Kids" events to come, just contact police.
