Convict who caused Richland manhunt sentenced to prison
PASCO, Wash. -- A convict who sparked a manhunt in a Richland apartment complex last year has been sentenced to prison.

Devonn Kinsey was sentenced to five years in prison Tuesday for threatening a Pasco police officer.

Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney Shawn Sant says Kinsey is a gang member and that his criminal history showed his threats should not have been taken lightly.

Richland police shut down the Columbia Park Apartments on Jadwin Avenue in December after they received a tip that Kinsey, who had escaped custody, was hiding there.

Kinsey is appealing his sentence.
