City sells property, new restaurant coming to Kennewick

KENNEWICK NEWS RELEASE -- The Kennewick City Council has approved the real estate purchase and sale agreement with H & H Northwest Companies, LLC for 1.26 acres located at the corner of 395 & Hildebrand Blvd. The purchase price is just under $413K. The property was sold based on the purchaser’s intent of constructing a “Rock Wood Fired Pizza Restaurant” adjacent to the Southridge Sports and Events Complex.
“The City continues to focus efforts towards economic development in the Southridge area. This exciting new restaurant will complement the City’s investment and vision for growth at Southridge” said Darlene Mendoza, Economic Development Specialist.
The Rock Wood Fired Pizza & Spirits, a full-service gourmet pizza chain, based in Sumner, Washington, brings its newest location to Kennewick. Independently owned and operated by franchisee Brad Loucks, The Rock specializes in award-winning pizzas, salads, pastas, burgers, sandwiches, privately labeled micro-brews and much more.
According to Brad Loucks “The Rock Wood Fired Pizza & Spirits is a visual treasure and a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Authentically re-created architecture includes rock history memorabilia and a distinctive warm classic rock atmosphere”.
