Child safety locks recalled, even infants can easily pick them
What good is a lock..that doesn't lock?
Safety 1st is recalling their popular Push 'N Snap cabinet locks.
There have been hundreds of reports where children..some as young as nine months old..have gotten into cabinets supposedly protected by the product.
In a number of those incident..the children were rushed to the hospital after swallowing house-hold cleaners.
The locks were sold between 2004 and 2010 at major retailers nationwide.
The company asks you to stop using them immediately..store any dangerous items on higher shelves..and contact them for a free replacement.
