Car prowl numbers take a dive

The KEPR Crime Tracker is looking into car prowls, and found the numbers are improving this month. Prowls dropped in all three cities.
In Richland, car prowls are down a whopping 24 percent compared to last year.
In Kennewick, numbers are cut in half compared to last June and July.
And Pasco has seen only 14 cases this August -- considerable when June and July saw 127 cases combined.
Police say there are no hot spots for trouble -- though prowlers hit hard when they do.
"Man - this happened right in front of my house? It was a shock - shock and awe" said Jeremy Johnson.
Best advice is to leave valuables out of your car -- and lock up.
