RICHLAND, Wash. -- Richland police want your family to know about two new sex-offenders.
Tyson Baker was just reclassified as a level two for inappropriate contact with several girls under 14. He lives on the 1300 block of Carolina Avenue.
Authorities say he needs to be reported immediately should you see him near a park, school or library.
Baker was convicted of child molestation back in 2004 and has never been treated.
The second man is Ruben Pangelinan. He has made the 500 block of Delafield Avenue his new home.
This level 3 sex-offender was convicted of child molestation multiple times across eastern Washington back in the 90s. More recently he failed to register as a sex-offender.
He carries the same bans citywide and is currently not under DOC supervision.
Police are hosting another community information meeting next month for anyone uncomfortable with these new arrangements to learn more. The meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. April 18th at the Richland Police Department.
Can somebody explain in greater detail WHY people should alert police & maybe some actual accusations of what they've possibly DONE before everyone is instructed about what to do regarding them??? There are charges against slander y' know...Just sayin"

"I'm just sick to think we could have been so naive." City officials called the first-time small-business owner Tuesday morning to let him know that Ruben Edward Pangelinan, 32, who donned a pirate costume and helped out during Water Follies, was a Level III sex offender. All I can say is I dont believe in calling 911 when it comes to this cause obviously they just get put back out with society so if you punks are reading this you better stay the hell away from any children cause now I know your faces.
Why do they give people like this second chances, I believe in second chances but some things are way to evil to even think about giving a second chance like what these kind of bastards do to defenceless children. We need to find another empty island to dump all of them off to, the way they used to use Australia was the best idea ever. They can all just molest eachother like they deserve, the sick scumbag punks. And they wonder why theres vigilanties, cause if the system took care of them correctly our children would be safer and then the kids would get a chance at a good world, which is what they deserve.

found out Friday that a registered sex offender was getting counseling at my son's church preschool and he didn't disclose that he was a pedophile a parent saw him entering the church when she was picking up her kids and recognized him from the website and told the church. he was told not to come back. i just looked online and there's one registered sex offender right around the corner from the elementary school my son will go to next year. makes me worried about the things that could happen

There is no law in Washington that legislates how close a sex offender can live to a school. Unless it's in their court order they can live right next door to a school. It's sad but it's how it is. So yes, he is one block from an elementary school. There is also a day care right there. And it is legal.
I am sure some local b.a.c.a members could help remove the Guy from near the school.
I understand the hatred for sex offenders, I really do, but I wish people would understand that crimes are different. I am currently homeless because my 13 yo son got caught playing doctor. He is now a level 2 sex offender, I have lost my home and could lose my job. I spend my days cruising around Richland because there is nothing else I can do. What do you really feel is more dangerous, my son in a home that you can find on a map, or cruising through your neighborhoods? Dunno, it's just tough that there are other people in these offender's lives that are being hurt more than they are.

Funny how they always manage to live as close to a school/daycare/park as possible.....
It's up to the Tri cities as a community to make sure these scumbags stay away from our children because obviously the justice system isn't doing their part.
