Burglary duo down to uno? Hermiston Police hope message is sent
With any luck - Hermiston Police pray they put a stop to a series of day-time burglaries throughout the city.
They booked 21-year old Carol Mendoza of Umatilla for two of them *so far -- one on 8th Street last December -- the second off Ridgeway Avenue this past week.
They believe she was not acting alone in these burglaries - but have little evidence to go after an accomplice.
The investigation remains on-going -- officials wanted to get this "cog" off the streets and out out of other people's homes as soon as possible.
