Bond approved for airport expansion plan

Bond approved for airport expansion plan
PASCO, Wash. -- The Tri-Cities airport is finally getting its makeover!

The Port of Pasco commissioners unanimously approved a bond last night to remodel the airport. They will issue no more than $28,000,000 for the terminal expansion project that will double the size of our airport.

The plan is to move the staircase, elevator, and bathrooms to the front of the terminal. And to make the security checkpoint, ticketing, and baggage areas bigger. Construction should begin in August.
