"Vast improvements" for Ben Ensign
The Richland man severely wounded outside a Kennewick nightclub is making great strides in his recovery.

Ben Ensign has now been moved to a rehab center in Spokane.

His family's blog says he's taken his first steps again -- using a walker.

They say, since waking from his medically-induced coma -- the 31-year old has shown "vast improvements." He's now answering commands -- and regaining precise control of his left hand.

Assault charges were filed against Matthew Hibbard, the bouncer accused of violently removing Ensign from Jack Didley's nightclub on the Fourth of July.
