Asssault victim Karen Lange returns to Pendleton's Riverwalk

PENDLETON, Ore. -- Karen Lange is out of a Portland hospital and back home two months after a near fatal attack at the Riverwalk.

Lange had gone out for her nightly job when police say she was blindsided by Lukah Chang. She was struck on the head once, but doctor's put her into a medically induced coma.

Her husband Dan kept us updated with a daily blog and we're happy to report the couple joined our own Davis Wahlman at Riverwalk on Friday to talk about the night that nearly took her life.

Chang is currently being held without bond at the Umatilla County jail. He's been charged in the murder of Amyjane Brandhagen and attempted murder on Lange.

You will see Davis' exclusive interview with Karen Lange next week only on KEPR Action News.
