PENDLETON-- If you've ever dreamed of becoming the next Carrie Underwood or Taylor Hicks..here's your chance.
American Idol is coming to Wild Horse Resort and Casino this Saturday, with 100 spots open for tryouts for singers ages 15 to 28.
The best of those hundred will receive airfare and a hotel room in Chicago where they'll receive a guaranteed shot to perform in front of an Idol producer.
And local singers know this chance doesn't come around everyday.
Berto Rosales, a local singer, says, "I think a lot of people want to do something like that but don't really know how and don't really, cant really find the avenue to get there so they do something different than what they want to do an what they would want do... So opportunities like this are great."
And if you're just looking for some free entertainment.. the event is open to the public to view some of our area's top talent. It all starts at 9 AM Saturday.
