Boise Amber Alert cancelled; boy found safe

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The Amber Alert issued for a 17-year-old Boise teen has been cancelled.
Lee Center will be turned over to the custody of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.
Preliminary reports indicate the teenager appears to be unharmed.
The investigation into the alleged battery did not result in any charges, Boise Police says, and the suspect was not taken into custody.
Other elements of this investigation are still ongoing, including the validity of the report by a third party and the elusive nature of the suspect’s actions.
