On Wednesday, a judge ordered a change of venue.
Ruiz is the man accused of gunning down five people in a Pasco auto-body shop back in the 80's.
His first two trials ended in a mistrials.
The judge agreed to move the third trial out of town but the location hasn't been decided on.
The last big trial that was moved out of town ended up in Asotin County.
