It's Time To "Giddy-Up!"

ELLENSBURG -- It's that time of year again.

The County fair and rodeo has begun.

Of course, it's nothing new to the people here.

Loyal fan, Linda Maze said, "It's a family tradition."

Most locals have been attending the Rodeo for as long as it's been around.

"I've been coming every year and actually my father's been coming for the past 15," Maze added.

Even for the them, one day is never enough.

Ellensburg resident, Mark Johnson said, "We'll be here tomorrow, we'll be here Sunday and we'll be here Monday."

The crowd looked thin tonight, but organizers said to just give it a few more days.

Tourists from as far as Missouri always make annual trips to the fair.

Robert Meyers came all the way from Gresham, Oregon.

Both his daughter and granddaughter are participants in the rodeo.

"All the girls, all the cowboys, everything, it's just really a great experience," Meyers said.
